Grapes 50% Verdejo, 30% Viura, 20% Sauvignon Blanc Facts The main characteristic of Verdejo is its freshness and acidity. It therefore makes sense that the majority of Verdejo based wines never see exposure to oak, so as not to detract from the natural flavor of the grape. To me, it would depend on the quality (and price) of the wine. If I’m paying $8/glass, no big deal, but if I’m paying $20/glass I’d probably even ask them to open a fresh bottle for me. My wife doesn’t drink wine, so by the glass is usually how I drink it in restaurants.

Taste it. If it tastes good, no probs. Otherwise ask for a fresh glass just as if the first glass had been corked.

…and that’s the funny thing! I’ve never heard someone say: “Hmmmmmm….this tastes like it was poured from a combination of two bottles!!!” It’s only when they SEE it being done that it all of a sudden becomes a problem.
